Construction site digital surface modeling is the process of using computer software and technology to create a digital representation of the surface of a construction site.

This includes the topography, layout, and a finish grade design. Including the roadways, parking areas, and other surfaces that will be used during the construction process. Digital surface modeling can also be used during the construction process itself to track progress, ensure quality control and the use for machine control systems (which greatly help the speed and efficiency of your site).

Additionally, 3D models of the surface can be used to create virtual walk-throughs and simulations to help stakeholders understand the final design and layout of the construction site.
